Two Worlds
By day, I’m a CPA navigating fund structures, capital flows, & valuations —a world built on technical rigor. Outside office walls, I find myself drawn to the terrains where routine ends and the wild begins.
Skimming the surface has never really worked for me. Whether I’m locked in behind my desk or surrendering to gravity on a skydive, I’m chasing the same core questions: Where do you find mental stillness when everything moves fast? What are we actually trading our time for? What does it take to stay entirely present in high-consequence moments?

My Journey
The Journey Behind the Field Notes
My version of stepping away isn’t a weekend resort trip — it’s standing at Everest Base Camp, freefalling through open skies, crawling through deep subterranean caves and trekking across high-altitude wilderness.
I’ve tracked mud through the dense Mossy Forests of Malaysia, climbed the ancient path up Mount Sinai, logged bitter cold and thin air of Everest Base Camp and stood inside chambers sealed for three thousand years. Such moments — whether standing at the edge of a frozen peak or dropping into total darkness — force an immediate, unarguable pause. And in that quiet vacuum, the white noise of modern life simply falls away.

What Drives Me
When everything stops, the real questions rush in. Why do we remember the past so pleasantly while the present slips by unnoticed? How did we get so good constantly chasing what’s next, missing the exact ground we’re standing on? Does physical exhaustion change the way we process time and memory? What does it actually mean to be present when your brain is hardwired for deadlines?
This blog is a personal field journal for those exact paradoxes—a home for both worlds: the long-haul expeditions, the quiet essays that come out of them, and the everyday thoughts from a life lived between spreadsheets and summits.
If you enjoy slow thoughts, reflections that refuse to take the standard route, and the quiet space between professional deadlines and the open road—welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.
